Windmill Software Limited is a British Company established in 1991. We specialise in data acquisition and control software for Windows.

Our design philosophy is that data acquisition systems should be versatile, expandable and above all reliable. To this end all our software is modular. You purchase the core modules (or download them for free if you are one of our newsletter subscribers) then add extra modules as the need arises. You can also use our software with third party applications, such as Microsoft's Excel spreadsheet. We don't lock you into one particular make of hardware or communications architecture either. Instead we let you connect devices over, for example, RS232, RS485, GPIB, IEEE-488, Ethernet, Modbus, ISA-bus and USB. (Our on-line shop currently offers RS232, RS422, RS485, Modbus and USB drivers - please contact us for details of GPIB, Ethernet, ISA-bus, etc.)
